More About Why Suspiria Scares Us

Allow this post to accentuate your experience listening to Katya and me as we wax hilarious about the not-so-much-with-the-dancing ballerina witches and the exploits of the undercover coven (undercoven?) in Argento's Suspiria.

Let's start with the creepy-ass theme song by Goblin.  Check it out:

The stained glass that so impressed Katya.  With poor dead Pat.

Suzy by the irises.  I want to live in this room.

Why does this witch have to work in the kitchens?  Where'd she get that magical prism?  What's the deal with Joan Bennett's spooky nephew?  Plot points ... doesn't matter ... DOESN'T MATTER.

The girls in their makeshift dormitory.  Such red. All red.

More irises ("Turn the blue one!") and Joan "Madame Blanc" Bennett.

More Joan Bennett, looking amazing.

Check out the pins in Sarah's creepy dead eyes!

Witch stab!  (Look at those fingernails!)

Witch Stab, Part Deux.  Sayonara, Black Queen, Mother of Sighs!

WIIIIIIITCH!
